Wild Oat Animal Rescue

Wild Animal, Farm Animal, Horse Rescue & Rehab Low cost Vaccination Clinics for Pets

What we do
We are in need of your help to save the rescue for our animals!
Please visit our Gofundme campaign to donate!

We rescue and take in many types of animals.  We take in wild animal babies and raise them up to be released back into the wild, (the "Wild" part of our name), farm animals come here, and horses too, (the "Oat" part).  We don't take in dogs and cats very often, our main focus for dogs and cats are low-cost vaccinations and low-cost spay and neuters, so you can afford to keep your pets, and we can help to reduce the number of unwanted, homeless animals.

All of the animals here at Wild Oat now, and all of those that come in throughout the year, are very grateful for any size donation that you can give!  Thank you!!

You're welcome to browse through our site, get to know us and see what we do.  There are some poems by one of our supporters and even a page with a few games.  So, come on in, kick off your shoes and stay a while, we're glad to have you here.

 Ojibwa Prayer

Oh Great Spirit, whose voice I hear in the winds
And whose breath gives life to everyone,
 Hear me.
 I come to you as one of your many children;
I am weak... I am small...I need your wisdom
 and your strength.
Let me walk in beauty, and make my eyes ever
behold the red and purple sunsets.
Make my hands respect the things you have made,
and make my ears sharp so I may hear your voice.
Make me wise, so that I may understand what you
 have taught my people and
The lessons you have hidden in each leaf and each rock.
I ask for wisdom and strength,
Not to be superior to my brothers, but to be able
to fight my greatest enemy, myself.
Make me ever ready to come before you with
clean hands and a straight eye,
So as life fades away as a fading sunset,
My spirit may come to you without shame.
